About Krewe De' Kannabis
Founded in 4/20 (April 2020), Krewe De’ Kannabis emerged from a group of pro-cannabis moms (referring to ourselves as “Cannamoms”) and their families attended the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras parade in February 2020. Inspired by the philanthropic missions of other local Krewes and common interest communities, we envisioned creating our own Krewe to educate and break the cannabis stigma in our area, and beyond. What better way than a pro-cannabis Mardi Gras Krewe to have some fun, educate our community, turn heads, advocate to lawmakers, and reach the masses? Despite the challenges of the COVID era, we gained momentum in mentorship, brought together pro-cannabis passionate advocates and individuals, and made our vision a reality!
We are continuing to push the boundaries (legally), educate, and destigmatize all forms of cannabis. In Florida and beyond!
Official Mission Statement of Krewe de Kannabis:
The mission of the Krewe de Kannabis is to engage the community in an increased effort to educate people on the benefits of the cannabis plant, remove the historically negative stigma associated with cannabis, and advocate for the full legalization of all forms of cannabis. We strive to end the prohibition of cannabis, normalize use, and shift the stigma - in our area, and beyond.

Dedicating the 2024-2025 Season to Tre Rogers
Arthur “Tre” Rogers joined Krewe de Kannabis in 2022 after winning an open mic comedy show fundraiser with local talent. He quickly became a valued and loved member and dear friend to so many. Even finding love in the krewe with his Princess Haze. Tre was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer soon after joining us, which spread throughout his body, ultimately taking him in human form far too soon, in July 2024. Our krewe and parade season is not the same without him, but we will allow his spirit and vibe to live on as we continue to navigate freeing Tre’s favorite plant! We honored him as our Risen Prince for the 2024-2025 season.
RIP Tre, we love and miss you - forever our bud and Risen Prince 2025!
